Des Roches Geneve - Lepine spindle watch, Schweiz model circa 1770, gilt case, hand-wound movement, case diameter over 50 mm (72 mm wide), weight 105 g, in very good condition with minor wear, functioning and insured shipping.

The company De Roches & fils was active from around 1720 until the 19th century and was based in Geneva. Watches from this manufacturer are found in many museums.
Beautiful spindle clock with very fine painting - The Fish Catch
White email dial with Roman numerals and an outer minute track featuring intermediate Arabic numerals at 15/30/45/60. Original playful blued steel hands - gold-colored. Crown next to the two. Signed above the 6 by Des Roches. Well preserved. Two professional repairs at the IIII and VII.
Bezel with diamond fragments - partly missing.
Lift key for workshop and pointer setting available.
On the back cover email painting from the master class. Depiction of a fisherman and a fisherwoman with their helper in a boat. On the boat, six tiny pearls. Finest line work. Well preserved. Blue end ring with dot decoration (partially missing).
Inner SIMILOR and punch.
Classic spindle work with floral spindle clamp. Silver disc for setting the movement speed. Signed Des Roches. Geneva 4832.
Work is functioning.
As a collector's item, the accuracy and running duration were not tested.
Origin around 1770.
Watch diameter without the pendant: 53mm. With the pendant: 72mm. Total weight: 105g.
