Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Two Dutch-language reprints of the first stories, De Zwarte Madam (1957) and De Tamtamklopper (1954, 3rd printing, RV-6 and 19b), in good condition with softcover bindings published by Standaard Uitgeverij, featuring artist Willy Vandersteen.
Description from the seller
Two old reprints of the first stories.
The Black Lady. Version from 1957.
Good covers still have some creases. The back is originally closed with superficial abrasion damage. The white line is still largely visible.
The work interior is very beautiful, with no major remarks, and even features shiny original nails in the center.
The Tamtam Beater
3rd edition, 19b from 1954.
Good covers. The front cover has a bit more creases than the black lady's. On the right in the middle, at the outer edge, there's a one-centimeter red touch-up that's unobtrusive. On the left in the middle of the spine, there's a spot with more wear where there used to be a third staple, which has been removed. On the back cover, a pencil note is in the top left.
Good original back, closed but with surface rust and therefore more wear where the third nail was once located.
Inside is very good, but the third nail has left holes throughout the book. Close-up photo. A few pages have been discreetly reattached with a small glue spot. Pencil name on the title page.
