A treat from the Keeble Cask Company, this 14-year-old single malt
from Ardmore joins the independent Fragrant Drops collection. Distilled
in 2009, the whisky was treated to a two-year finish in a single dark rum
barrel before bottling in 2023.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Burnt sugar, charred herbs, sweet, biscuity malt and trickles of
runny toffee, with zesty peels joining in time.

Palate: Juicy notes of grilled tropical fruits, roasted nuts, and treacle
toffee are followed by savoury, drying wood smoke.

Finish: Caraway, ginger biscuits, and bold, vegetal peat smoke.

Distillery Information

The distillery was built in 1898 by William Teacher's son, Adam, to secure
fillings for their blend, Teacher's Highland Cream (of which it remains the
principal component). Two stills were added in 1955, and four more in
1974, for a total of eight.
