Maurilio Manara, known as Milo (Luson, September 12, 1945), is an Italian comic artist, renowned for the sensual allure of his illustrations.
Erato, the 'beautiful', the 'desired', muse of erotic lyric poetry, bestowed upon him the ability to translate eroticism into poetic vignettes. Milo used these gifts to create marvelous stories and bring forth splendid creatures.
In this poster, she draws her sinuous and sensual muse while she sleeps with the blissful and peaceful testimonial, an iconic comic character of the renowned Italian mattress company Permaflex. The final result is incredibly beautiful.
