Frame measures 31 x 39 cm by the painter Pieter Brueghel the Younger, Peasants and Harvest.

Pieter Brueghel the Younger was born in Brussels. He was the eldest son of the famous 16th-century Dutch painter Pieter Brueghel the Elder (known as 'Brueghel the Peasant') and Mayken Coecke van Aelst. His father died in 1569, when the younger Pieter was only five years old. After his mother's death in 1578, Pieter, along with his brother Jan Brueghel the Elder (also known as 'Velvet Brueghel', 'Paradise Breughel', and 'Flowers Breughel') and his sister Marie, went to live with their grandmother Mayken Verhulst. She was the widow of the prolific artist Pieter Coecke van Aelst and also a skilled artist in her own right, known for her miniature paintings.[3] According to the early 17th-century Flemish biographer Karel van Mander, Mayken Verhulst was possibly the first teacher of her two grandchildren.
