It contains the first four books on the Decalogue, that is, an introduction and exposition of the Precepts of the First Table. With appropriate indexes. Munich, printed by Lucas Strave, at the expense of Johannes Wagner, citizen and bookseller of Munich. With approbations and special papal privilege. 1659. Two parts in one volume. 4to: (8)528(32), (2)612(42) pages. Original beautiful parchment with overlapping edges. Binding and paper in good condition. A fine book. Rare first edition.

Tommaso Tamburini (March 6, 1591 – October 10, 1675) was an Italian Jesuit moral theologian.
Also known as RP Thoma Tamburino.
He was born in Caltanissetta on Sicily and joined the Society of Jesus at the age of fifteen, where he distinguished himself by his talent for teaching. After a successful study, he held the chair of philosophy for four years, dogmatic theology for seven years, moral theology for seventeen years, and served as rector of various colleges for thirteen years. He died in Palermo.
