Tarts London - famous watchmaker in London - watch No. 2456
Collector's watch with repoussé over-case and impressive chatelaine with key
Mystical scene. Interesting depiction - my king - fine condition... High relief work. Very well preserved.
Inner casing silver.
Punched multiple times.
Fine painted arcaded dial with Roman numerals and an outer minute track with connected arcs, featuring large Arabic numerals for 5. Richly and playfully crafted steel hands - gold-colored. The polygram painting depicts three youths - elegantly dressed in a field - two of whom are flying their kite. The dial is in very good condition.
The entire watch is in very good used condition - winding over the back.
Lift key and second time setting key (dial center edge) available.

Fire-gilded high work designated Tarts London 2456 - spindle wheel over snail and chain - produced around 1765. Beautifully decorated engraved plate. Well-shaped square pillars and decorative appliqués. Unusual spindle clamp - floral with central flower and above with depiction of a dragon.

As a collection object, there is no control over runtime and timing accuracy.
Watch diameter 50mm - height 28.4mm - total length with pendant 70.5mm - weighs 94.9g.

Impressive chatelaine - punched silver - upper part with leaves and a circle, featuring a depiction of a fanfare with a fruit basket and doves. Two side chains - on one side, a beautiful old eye-catching winding key. On the other, a carnation as a finish. Two outer chains running downward - in the center, a wide band with three finely outlined decorative fields. Finished with a decorative element, representations of instruments.
