Seller's Story

Painting with pastel - I love it. One of my passions is painting birds, wildlife, and pets. I let my work be inspired by the beauty of nature and the allure of wildlife to humans. Working with soft pastels I find fantastic because this medium allows me to depict texture, warmth, and subtle details; thus, I can bring each subject to life. With every piece I create, I pay tribute to the beauty of nature. I like to share my passion with others, which is why I am looking for enthusiastic buyers who would love to have my work on their wall. Over the past years, I have sold more than fifty pieces, including both free works and commissioned pieces. I took various online courses with American pastel artists Alain Picard and Marla Baggetta, and artist Chris Fornataro. I have exhibited my work at many places, such as De Talter in Oldebroek, Bezoekerscentrum Staverden of Geldersch Landschap, Historisch Museum Elspeet, and Landalpark Landgoed 't Loo (permanent exhibition). In 2019, I won first prize at the Talter Cultuurprijs, and in 2024, I was a finalist in two different Richeson75 Art Competitions. In October 2025, I won second prize in the American Art Awards competition in the Pastel - Figure category.
