Salvatore Quasimodo - Signed/Giorno dopo Giorno/La vita non è un sogno - 1949

Salvatore Quasimodo, Nobel Prize in Literature, here presented in two editions belonging to the literary critic Giuseppe Susini. The two were very close friends, so much so that the poet sent his books to the critic, signing off in a very familiar manner, 'your Salvatore,' 'Salvatore,' and so on (see the beautiful publication 'Poets Must Suffer,' letters to Giuseppe Susini (1934-1950), a wonderful epistolary exchange between the two).

First edition 1949 of the famous series Lo Specchio, in perfect condition and with ownership signature of Giuseppe Susini (see photo). Copies previously owned by Susini. Pages 55+60. Publisher's paperback in perfect condition.
