Unusual, very rare luxury pocket watch in a Lepine silver 18K gold case with a fine classic look, featuring day and date - all in very beautiful, first-class condition. A beautiful collector's watch.
18K gold hallmarking in the case
Original case in good condition - smoothly finished - inside the back cover stamped - 18K and additional hallmarks.
Smooth sides
Fine, unusual, very fine dial. Dial with Arabic numerals and an outer running connected minute track with Arabic 15-minute markers - fine blued hands, delicately decorated. Winding crown at the three o'clock position. In the center, a subsidiary dial for the day date. Black circle with white Arabic numbers 1 to 31. Fine blued, filigree date hand, position indicated by the front of the main hands with a key on the central square. Signed Js. de Swart Louvain. The dial is in very good condition.
Work end folding below 6.
Fire-gilded spindle work in a classic form. Floral spindle clamp divided into eight sections. Engraved finish. Silver-colored disk for speed regulation. Signed Js. de Swart Laouvain.
Pocket watch key for the movement and own key for time and date setting are available.
