Ivanka Gallery was founded in 2019 in Borša, near Košice, Slovakia, as a creative space dedicated to contemporary abstract painting. Today, the gallery represents husband-and-wife artists Ivanka Matiss and Manolo Roman, whose individual practices are connected by colour, gesture, emotion, and the expressive power of painting. Working mainly with acrylic on canvas, their works explore atmosphere, memory, nature, texture, spirituality, and human experience. From their studio in Slovakia, Ivanka Gallery shares original contemporary paintings with collectors worldwide through curated online auctions.
