Noel Villafuerte is a contemporary painter based in southern Spain. My art is not about me. 
My art is all me. That is the paradox. Not autobiography, not identity, not explanation — but presence. The work does not describe a life; it emerges from one. Every gesture, hesitation, rhythm, fracture, and layer carries something lived, even when nothing literal is being depicted. The paintings are not self-portraits in image, but in energy. They do not ask to be read as cultural statements or personal narratives. They exist more like traces of consciousness — instinctive, emotional, contradictory, unresolved, human. What matters is not where the artist comes from, but whether the work reaches something recognizable beyond language and category: tension, vulnerability, movement, silence, chaos, longing, release. The paradox remains: the work is not about the artist, yet the artist is entirely inside it.

    Un peu déçue par les couleurs. Les couleurs du tableau sont un peu plus fades que sur les photos mais ça reste un beau tableau même si je m’attendais à un tableau aux couleurs plus vives.

    Het schilderij is goed verpakt en op tijd aangekomen. Ziet er mooi uit, zoals op catawiki site. Jammer dat handtekening op doek of certificaat ontbreekt.
