The faience is in very good condition — no chips or cracks, and the gilding is almost intact (which is rare for a piece from this period).
It comes from the Faïencerie Bequet located in Quaregnon, Belgium, and is

Black marble base and dial with metal numbers, working, without chime, typical of the Art Deco period. In good condition with evident signs of metal oxidation due to age. I highlight a slight crack on the rear leg of the dog.

The oak wooden clock case features Coromandel wooden parts and is adorned with brass details and front legs, reminiscent of the Amsterdam School style.
The clock runs as it should and strikes once every half hour and the full number on the hour.

Occasionally, two different bidders may show up in the bidding history with the same bid amount. This occurs when one user's bid is exactly the same as an automatic (maximum) bid placed by another user earlier. Since the auto-bid was placed first, this takes preference. The bidding history will show both bids, with the auto-bid ranked as the higher of the two.
