Lovely jewelry casket from French 19th century!

The authentic and original box object is blessed with an almost unique patina of time (see photos)!
Some might say it is partially worn… I say this is elegant salon chic of the era with character!

Artigiano Italiano - Casket - Walnut

Chest that I have always seen at home. It may have belonged to my great-grandfather (or his father).
I don’t know what material it is made of. It weighs a lot for how small it is. 7.2 kg.
The only thing missing is a wooden "floor" inside to create a secret compartment.
