Translation:
Ministry of War – Homing Pigeon Competition.
This inscription firmly identifies the plaque as an official Ministry of War award, connected to France’s military pigeon-breeding and training programmes.

There is a bronze plaque with the Maltese cross, (the same as this one), at the entrance to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Mosta, a town on the island of Malta. (look it up on the internet).

The center of the plaque shows a bit of wear from being caressed so much.

Unique Objects

Occasionally, two different bidders may show up in the bidding history with the same bid amount. This occurs when one user's bid is exactly the same as an automatic (maximum) bid placed by another user earlier. Since the auto-bid was placed first, this takes preference. The bidding history will show both bids, with the auto-bid ranked as the higher of the two.


Double bid
