Beautiful alabaster bust of a young woman, very skillfully sculpted.
The sculpture bears on the back the signature of the Italian artist "A. Cipriani".

Adolfo Cipriani, born in Florence in 1857, was active as a sculptor from around 1880 to 1930. Little is known about his career.

It was auctioned approximately 25 years ago at an estate sale in Italy, Milano. 

It was handmade and has a very detail oriented workmanship.
