Two handmade oak wood jugs in the cooper’s style.
"A cooperage piece made in the tradition of master coopers"

Skilled companions made it in first-quality split oak.

Height 27 and 25 cm.
Slight corrosion in places.

Stunning pair of antique solid wood pitchers, bound with riveted metal bands, with a handle and a spout in darkened metal.

These two items show a beautiful natural patina, bearing witness to their age and authenticity. One pitcher a bit more rusted than the other,

Stunning antique jug made of solid wood, ringed with riveted metal bands, with a handle and a spout in blackened metal.

This object shows a beautiful natural patina attesting to its age and authenticity.

Originally probably used as a carafe or jug for holding cider or wine..

Description: an elegantly crafted pouring jug with a black handle and wooden lid knob, designed with influences from the Art Deco period.

Origin: Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Silversmith: Fa. Amsterdams Keur (C.M. & M. Schoorl-Nijgh)
Year: 19554.
Assay marks: lion II, Minerva, master

Two jugs in good condition, thus a sign of Foulon, master worker, and a bottle bearing the sign Gerard Lafille, master worker as well, from the 1930s, in 1933. A beautiful object of our heritage for a keepsake.
