Artist Biography Born in Lisbon (1983), Nuno Barbedo (also known as THECAVER) is a multidisciplinary artist who began his career with traditional illegal graffiti in 1998. The streets became his preferred workplace; however, the artist has held solo exhibitions in galleries and public spaces worldwide. Recognizable from a distance, his work can be seen as a harmonious yet complex composition of simple, colorful, and bold forms, often with an enigmatic theme and a surrealist approach.
