"Woman on Train" is one of the scenes I chose from the iconic "North by Northwest," a film by Alfred Hitchcock that has always fascinated me, in addition to the film's photographic aspect with its unique Technicolor. But beyond the film, and with the flaw of a person like me, who connects and is inspired by everything I see, the painting side... And also an eternal fondness for the theme linked to trains. In this case, I think it has a lot of another icon of painting, Edward Hopper; when I watch the film, it almost seems like I'm seeing his paintings in motion. I chose this work because it relates to Edward Hopper's work, the loneliness of the characters with distant gazes. I will return to the film, as there is no shortage of scenes to paint.
