Edad del Bronce Bronce Arrowhead (Sin precio de reserva)
A Bronze Age bronze arrowhead, featuring a triangular blade with square shoulders. A pronounced central midrib develops to a short stem, leading to a square-sectioned tang. Earthly encrustation and patination to the surface.
In ancient times a number of nomadic populations, such as the Medes and the Kassites settled in the Western Asiatic region. Due to the nomadic nature of the tribes, none of these bronzes were of great size, since it was required for them to be light and portable. Excavated items often included weapons, tools, and finials, as well as small amulets and fittings. Their artwork mainly comprises ornaments, vessels and weapons. Most of these bronze items have been recovered in funerary contexts.
Measurements: (circa) L 14.5cm x W 2.3cm
