CELL TABLES is part of a series of pieces that Marco Calhau has created around the exploration and investigation of the idea of ​​how people interrelate. How people are capable of functioning as individuals, but we have always worked as a collective, evolving our specie creating societies and evolutionary groups based on the individual concept. CELL TABLES is a project that mixes and integrates timber wood and enameled ceramics, two noble materials with opposite characteristics, creating a direct relationship with its inspiration, people. Both materials come into contact through organic and celluloid forms that evoke the behavior of people when they interact.
