This lot includes: • 1x Dutch Vlaggenglobe, ca. 1960 • 1x Swedish Vlaggenglobe, ca. 1950 • 1x Norwegian Vlaggenglobe, ca. 1950 These ingenious educational objects consist of two printed cardboard hemispheres that slot together to form a freestanding globe-like display. Along the base, a colorful overview of national flags enhances both the educational and decorative appeal. Produced in the mid-20th century (including the Dutch example by the Eerste Nederlandsche Globe Industrie, Zwolle), these globes present a historical geopolitical snapshot, featuring countries such as the USSR, Yugoslavia, French West Africa and the Belgian Congo. What makes this lot particularly special is its unused (old new stock) condition. The globes have never been assembled or displayed, resulting in bright colors, crisp print quality and minimal wear, which is rarely encountered for paper educational items of this age.
