The Macallan 7 Year Old - Armando Giovinetti Special Selection, official bottling produced for the Italian market. This expression was selected and imported by Giovinetti & Figli, a historic Italian importer known for introducing and distributing high-quality Scotch single malts in Italy during the late 20th century.
Distilled at The Macallan Distillery in Speyside and matured for 7 years, this whisky represents an older style of Macallan production, from a period when the distillery was strongly associated with sherry cask maturation and rich, classic Speyside character. Bottlings linked to Giovinetti are increasingly appreciated by collectors due to their connection with the Italian whisky market and the historical significance of these selections.
