It includes six series: Slaughter (To), documenting his visits to a slaughterhouse between 1962 and 1963; as well as Kotobuki, Play (Gi), Underworld (Mei), Mother, and Score (Fu). The book features an introductory essay by Nadai Nada, titled “Rorschach, Obscenity, Taboo, Play, and Fukase.” A chronology and related materials are included at the end of the volume. CONDITION The dust jacket has wear to the edges and fading along the spine. The book itself shows foxing on the endpapers, title page, and along the top and bottom edges.
