Chichibu Ichiro's Malt On The Way 2019 Release Single Malt Japanese Whisky (2019) 70cl

This is the third edition of Chichibu On the Way. This 2019 edition consists of 52 casks of whisky aged between 5 and 10 years.

These casks are mainly first-fill ex-bourbon casks, but there are also some second-fill Chibidaru casks, as well as some Mizunara (Japanese oak) hogsheads and some peated whisky.

Tasting Notes
Nose : Very fruity with apples, pears, fresh pineapple and a hint of coconut

Palate : Rich, round and buttery with apples and pears and gentle spice

Finish : Gentle charcoal notes with apples and a hint of tannic pear peel
