“This sculpture depicts Dante – my dog – who is a central figure in my personal mythology. The contrast of geometric shapes and metal screw heads represents a fusion of contemporary art and traditional motifs, alluding to ancient cultures where dogs were seen as guardians of the underworld.
The sculpture is made of rustic, charred wood; the material itself evokes primal forces – burned, scarred, yet resilient – much like the myths that shape our inner worlds. Dante is also the guardian of my subconscious, traveling through cultures and minds.
This piece captures not only the physical form of the dog, but also expresses the emotional depth of our bond, evoking systems of belief and mythology.”

ACERCA DEL ARTISTA
Gabor M. Szoke escultor internacionalmente aclamado y artista contemporáneo, mejor conocido por sus esculturas monumentales de animales trabajadas de forma industrial.
El artista nació en 1984 en Budapest, Hungría. Estudió en la Universidad Húngara de Bellas Artes y en la Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera en Milán. A pesar de su juventud, tiene más de 100 obras en todo el mundo en tres continentes, las cuales se han convertido en un elemento definitorio y emblemático de sus entornos. Sus obras pueden encontrarse en las áreas más progresistas y destacadas de plazas públicas e instituciones, como el Mercedes-Benz Stadium en Atlanta, frente a la sede de CNN, o en el corazón de Moscú, o en la colección del Rey de Baréin. Ostenta el récord de la estatua equina más grande de Europa y de la escultura aviar más grande del mundo. Una de sus obras más conocidas es el Atlanta Falcon, creada para el nuevo Mercedes-Benz Stadium en Atlanta, Georgia, que supera este récord con una envergadura de 72 pies. Sus creaciones están hechas de acero inoxidable y bronce.
