Description

A complete set of Volumes 1, 2, and 3 of European War Record (Ōshū Sensō Jikki), published in Taishō 3 (1914).

This historical wartime publication was issued shortly after the outbreak of World War I to report developments in Europe to Japanese readers. The magazines contain extensive coverage of military operations, political affairs, notable figures, and international events, accompanied by numerous photographs, illustrations, and maps.

Published by Hakubunkan (Tokyo), each volume includes fold-out battlefield maps that illustrate military positions and major fronts of the conflict, providing valuable historical insight into the early stages of the First World War.
