Descripción del vendedor
Celebra la historia de la aviación británica con esta striking Aluminium Spitfire Sculpture, mounted on a sleek tripod stand. At 30cm in height, it’s a compact yet commanding piece, perfect for desks, bookshelves, or gifting to enthusiasts of iconic design and engineering.
In tribute to the Supermarine Spitfire this solid aluminium will provide a beautifully eye-catching focal point that will capture the light perfectly. Developed in 1938 from a Schneider trophy-winning design by the aeronautical engineer and designer R.J Mitchell, the Supermarine Spitfire became the hero of the Battle of Britain in the summer of 1940.
Spitfires remained in service until 1961 – well into the jet age – by which time more than 20,000 had been produced. Whether displayed solo or within a collection, this sculpture brings timeless character and craftsmanship into any space.
Features:
Polished aluminium for a refined, metallic finish
Inspired by the iconic Supermarine Spitfire
Three-point tripod base for balanced display
Ideal for aviation lovers, history buffs, or design collectors
Dimensions:
Mounted on a tripod, measuring 20 x 36 x 39cm overall.
