The Alan Parsons Project fue una banda británica de rock activa entre 1975 y 1990, cuyo núcleo estaba compuesto por el productor, ingeniero de sonido, músico y compositor Alan Parsons y la cantante, compositora y pianista Eric Woolfson. Compartían créditos de escritura en casi todas sus canciones, con Parsons produciendo o co-produciendo todas las grabaciones, mientras eran acompañados por varios músicos de sesión, algunos relativamente constantes.

The Alan Parsons Project lanzó once álbumes de estudio a lo largo de una carrera de 15 años, siendo los más exitosos I Robot (1977), The Turn of a Friendly Card (1980) y Eye in the Sky (1982).
