The slopes of Monte Agreste speak of a sophisticated wine full of energy. Aromatic, persistent, penetrating.


Variety: Tempranillo
Soil: Calcareous clay
Vineyard age: 35-40 years
Harvest Date: October 19
Harvest: Manual
Aging: 18 months in French oak barrels,
followed by a period of one year in the bottle.

Elaboration: Vinification with whole grapes, after an intracellular fermentation of 9 days, the tear wine is separated, and we are left for the elaboration of Esculle with the shelf wine, which comes from the grapes that have remained whole but are broken by the pressure of two people who step on the grapes and turn them inside the fermentation tank.

Notas de cata: Color cereza con una capa intensa, incluso sin mucha evolución en el borde de la copa.

Nariz: En nariz, como siempre, es sofisticado. Sin mover la copa, se expresan de forma contundente la tierra, minerales y algo de musgo.

Al moverla encontramos aromas de licor, hierbas finas, tostado escondido pero persistente, café, muy expresivo, con toques de curry como cierre.

Ataque: En el ataque muestra bondad, el paladar es de raza, con taninos presentes pero amables, algo Atlántico, minerales salinos, con indicios de frutos maduros, pero también de sotobosque, aromas en el retrogusto otoñal, de hogar, leña quemada, largo en el final.

Materiales: tapa de metal de alta calidad, caja de madera de alta calidad.
