Form part of the Ebony Collection, this piece is a bold, abstract vase sculpture entirely handbuilt by Valentina Cojocaru using manganese stoneware with 25% chamotte. Its surface is raw and natural, revealing ground mineral textures that emerge from within the clay body, giving the form an earthy, tactile presence. It can be seen as both protective and exposed, monolithic yet delicate. The black stoneware gives it weight and grounding, while the carved aperture allow it to breathe and shift with the light.
Hand-built with mild irregularities typical of raw high fired stoneware. One-of-a-kind. Hand signed.
