Ciudad Interior N1 is an abstract, textured work built around the dialogue between darkness and light. Deep charcoal and black tones create an almost architectural environment, while aged golden and metallic nuances emerge gradually from within the surface.

The reliefs and layered textures suggest an imaginary city: fragments of structures, walls and hidden spaces that seem to appear and disappear depending on the viewer’s position. Rather than representing a specific place, the work evokes an inner landscape, a city that seems to exist somewhere between memory, silence and light.

The subtle metallic gold touches become particularly expressive as the light moves across the surface. Changes in light throughout the day reveal different aspects of the artwork, bringing out new reflections, contrasts and textures. Some varnished areas can produce soft iridescent effects that, under certain lighting, may appear almost white.

The combination of deep darkness and restrained golden light gives the work a quiet, sophisticated and contemplative presence. It is a piece that changes subtly with its surroundings, inviting the viewer to look again and discover details that were not immediately visible.

Ciudad Interior N1 es una obra abstracta y matérica construida alrededor del diálogo entre la oscuridad y la luz. Los tonos negros y gris carbón crean un entorno casi arquitectónico, mientras diferentes matices dorados, envejecidos y metálicos aparecen progresivamente desde el interior de la superficie.

Los relieves y las diferentes capas de textura sugieren una ciudad imaginaria: fragmentos de estructuras, muros y espacios ocultos que parecen aparecer y desaparecer dependiendo de la posición del espectador. Más que representar un lugar concreto, la obra evoca un paisaje interior, una ciudad que parece existir en algún punto entre la memoria, el silencio y la luz.

Los sutiles toques de dorado metálico adquieren especial protagonismo cuando la luz recorre la superficie. Los cambios de luz a lo largo del día hacen que la obra revele diferentes aspectos, mostrando nuevos reflejos, contrastes y texturas. Algunas zonas barnizadas pueden producir suaves efectos de iridiscencia que, dependiendo de la iluminación, pueden llegar a parecer casi blancos.
