She builds paint into ridges and crests, sets blocks of colour side by side, and drags the knife across the surface until foam seems to break from the canvas and reflections shimmer in stacked bands of sea-glass green, soft coral and deep blue. Whether she looks down on a turquoise tide washing over pale sand, or across a quiet bay dotted with distant sails, detail falls away and texture does the telling. Clelia's canvases open a conversation between stillness and movement, between the place we see and the calm we carry with us.
