Descripción del vendedor

BLUE SUN 75x110cm. Original contemporary painting by Małgorzata Oleszkiewicz. The artwork is an original piece, not a reproduction. BLUE SUN explores the delicate boundary between presence and absence, reality and memory. The composition depicts an enigmatic architectural interior, dominated by deep plum and violet tones. A narrow pink passage introduces an unexpected source of light, while a small blue sphere, the symbolic sun of the title, becomes a mysterious focal point. A translucent female figure stands motionless beside the opening, suspended between physical existence and disappearance. Her presence suggests a memory, a trace of someone who has passed through the space, or perhaps someone still waiting to cross its threshold. The geometric precision of the architecture contrasts with the fragile, almost spectral treatment of the human figure. This tension creates a distinctly theatrical atmosphere, recalling an empty stage where an invisible narrative is about to unfold. Drawing on the artist's background in painting, scenography and visual composition, BLUE SUN transforms a seemingly simple interior into a psychological landscape.
The painting invites the viewer to contemplate distance, transition, solitude and the ambiguous nature of human presence.

It is a unique, original painting by the artist.
The painting is varnished, which enhances the depth of colour and protects the surface. It is signed by the artist in the lower right corner. The painted edges of the canvas allow the work to be displayed without a frame. A certificate of authenticity signed by the artist is included.
Acrylic and pencil on primed canvas stretched over a wooden frame (unframed). Shipped stretched on the stretcher bars, not rolled. Carefully protected and packed in a rigid cardboard box intended for the transport of artwork.

About the Artist
Małgorzata Oleszkiewicz is a Polish visual artist holding Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Fine Arts and Design. Her works are characterised by restrained compositions, geometric structures and subtle tensions between colour, space and presence. Rather than relying on conventional narratives, her paintings investigate perception, distance, memory and the quiet dynamics between bodies and space.
