MARTA SCAVONE "I use the camera as a tool of creation and imagination” Marta Scavone is an artist from Turin, born in 1998, who blends various forms of expression to create visually and conceptually stimulating images. She graduated from art school with a Fashion Design diploma in 2017 and later, she graduated with honors in 2020 in Visual Arts - Photography at IED in Turin. She rejects the mere reproduction of the surrounding world to create unique scenarios in her studio, creating dreamlike images that that straddle the line between illustration and painting. The empty space of the photo studio represents for her what a blank canvas might be for a painter: infinite creative possibilities. Multidisciplinarity is a key element of her artistic approach: she combines photography, fashion, artistic installation and theatrical performance to explore contemporary themes in a creative way. She is represented by Febo & Dafne gallery in Turin.
