They visited one another in their respective countries regularly, during which times they`d go on frequent photo excursions. This catalogue accompanied a 2004 exhibition in which the two artists` work was juxtaposed. The show was assembled using only loans from Koenig`s collection. Thus, most of the Eggleston works contained in this volume are seen here for the first time, making it a must for the Eggleston completist.
