Zikhman in 1908, the book served as a didactic tool for beginners learning to read and write not only in standard Russian but also in Church Slavonic, the language used in liturgical texts and older manuscripts. Condition: Half-cloth binding – the boards are worn (see photo) but firmly attached; pages are occasionally soiled and the paper has yellowed.
