Le couvercle articulé est finement embossed with foliate scrolls framing a shaped cartouche with countryside peasant scene by Storck & Sinsheimer.
They exhibited at the 1876 Philadelphia International Exhibition
Fully hallmarked on bottom with Germany Hanau silversmith Storck & Sinsheimer marks
