ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“L’Aigle” is a symbol of power, vision and sovereignty.
The composition focuses tightly on the head, emphasizing the sharp gaze and the sculptural structure of the beak and feathers. The intense red background amplifies the strength and dominance of the subject, creating a bold visual impact.
Using my double-layer stencil technique, each feather was digitally designed and meticulously hand-cut before being applied with spray paint and acrylic. The graphic contrasts carve the texture of the plumage, giving rhythm and movement while maintaining a clean and contemporary aesthetic.
The red background was built instinctively, layer after layer, creating a textured and vibrant surface. This interplay between precision (the stencil) and spontaneity (the background) reflects the core of my artistic identity.
Despite its small format, this piece carries a powerful presence — a statement about clarity, focus and elevated perspective.
This is a unique, original artwork. Even if the stencil may reappear in future works, each background remains entirely one of a kind.
