ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Love Story” captures a poetic urban moment where innocence meets the language of street art.
Two children appear painting a large heart on a wall — one standing on a crate spraying the upper curve, while the other carefully completes the lower part with a brush. The scene evokes the simplicity of childhood and the universal symbol of love expressed through spontaneous gestures.
The glowing red heart becomes the emotional center of the composition, radiating through the textured background. Splashes and drips of red paint reinforce the raw energy of street art, while also suggesting the intensity and vulnerability often associated with love.
The piece was created using my double-layer stencil technique. The composition was first digitally designed and then meticulously hand-cut before being applied with spray paint and acrylic. This process allows the figures and the scene to remain crisp and graphic while the background remains expressive and instinctive.
By merging childhood imagery with urban aesthetics, the artwork tells a quiet story about creativity, connection and the timeless human need to express emotion.
