Koji Kasatani (né en 1964) est un artiste japonais.
Après avoir obtenu son diplôme d'une école d'art à Florence, en Italie,
j'ai étudié les techniques céramiques italiennes.
Après mon retour au Japon, j'ai commencé à me lancer le défi de créer des œuvres qui dépassaient les frontières de la céramique.
Lorsque j'ai trouvé des restes de banane, préférées par mon père, dans la cuisine, j'ai été convaincu que c'était de l'art, et depuis lors je crée des œuvres sur le thème de la banane depuis environ 18 ans.
