Elene Bokeria - Cancer (Zodiac)

Part of a series of 12 original paintings exploring the twelve signs of the zodiac, developed between 2016 and 2023. The collection follows the artist’s early artistic development across different stages of her life, using each zodiac sign as a starting point for personal, symbolic, and visual exploration.

CANCER - marks a turning point in the series, coinciding with the artist’s move to Barcelona and her first work on a circular canvas. Associated with home, memory, belonging, and emotional bonds, Cancer reflects the artist’s adaptation to a new environment and the quiet strength found in formative relationships.
