Imported to the Netherlands in 2002 by its current owner, who embarked on a full restoration. The car was originally delivered in Old English White and was expertly painted in British Racing Green when it was restored in 2002, with every detail neatly handled and with the car being restored body off at the time. Painted in 2K green paint and all chrome parts have been replaced and or re-chromed. The car was then rebuilt with new brakes, wiring harness, stainless steel fuel tank and a completely overhauled engine and High Torq starter motor. Due to health reasons, the previous owner has decided to part with this beautiful classic car and to entrust it to a new enthusiast. Exterior: British racing green paintwork, uni (original Triumph TR3A) colour. Paintwork is in good used condition with some signs of wear/scratches. Chrome front and rear bumper, in good used condition, original aluminium grill and original badges, chrome over riders in good used condition and beautiful 14" powder coated wire wheels with perfect Hangcook tyres. The convertible has a beautiful soft top with clear windows and a coated frame with a unique feature: the original pitch windows are present. These are fitted with clear Plexiglas in used condition. The Triumph has a chrome boot rack, aluminium mudguards on the rear wings, a chrome fuel filler cap, 2 TEX mirrors with a rounded design at the front, a clear laminated front window, new chrome headlight rings, Lucas headlights and Lucas indicator glass lenses. Bottom: Wonderful condition, rust and damage-free, bottom parts match the car's colour, including the wheel arches and wings. Bearing parts finished in black and are in good condition. Piping in good condition as are the shock absorbers (Koni Competition) and brakes (front disc brakes), all in good condition and fully checked. The exhaust is a stainless steel sports exhaust developed specifically for the TR3 and it was fully replaced a number of years ago. Interior: Fully restored! Magnificent original bucket seats in beige leather, finished with deep green piping. Rear seat panels in matching finish, door trim also in leather and fully matching. The carpeting is black and in good condition, soundproof insulation has been fitted and the boot is also fitted with a set of black original carpet. The steering wheel has been modified and made smaller, which allows the driver to sit slightly more comfortably. Finished in walnut with the original stainless steel heart and indicator unit. The dashboard features original clocks with convex glasses, overdrive switch and veneer wood dash panel (in fair condition). Additional rear-view mirror, which is not original. Furthermore, the car has a 12V socket. Mechanics: Equipped with an original and fully overhauled 1991cc 4-cylinder engine with 101HP and perfect 4-speed manual transmission in 2002. The carburettors have been overhauled and fitted with two original air filters. The Tr3 has a fully stainless steel exhaust system with a deep and dark sound.
