The dolls feature finely modeled white faces with calm, dignified expressions, characteristic of quality Japanese craftsmanship. Both figures are dressed in richly layered silk brocade kimono: Empress (Ohina-sama): Wearing a vibrant multi-layered jūni-hitoe style kimono in shades of red, pink, and gold, beautifully decorated with classical motifs.
