Selling this beautiful and rare MMC 6000 phono cartridge from Danish Bang & Olufsen produced in the 1970s.
The MMC6000 was the top of this series of cartridges, and thanks to it's intricate Pramanik style cut diamond tip on a beryllium cantilever it was considered one of the best phono cartridges available at the time and the best B&O had ever produced.
The cartridge is in good working condition and sounds great. Comes as shown in original beautiful B&O box with all paperwork, documents, certificate and universal adapter to also attach it to any non-B&O turntable and the original B&O branded tools (screwdriver, weight & brush). The cartridge has never been retipped or needed repair, so all parts are original, including the unique beryllium cantilever and Pramanik cut diamond tip. Serial number on the cartridge and in the documentation are matching (see images).
