Egermann - Egermann - Vaso (2) - Cristallo - Set di due pezzi massicci

BOHEMIAN CRYSTAL VASE & BOWL SET – HANDMADE EGEMANN ART GLASS This striking vase and bowl set represents the very essence of traditional Czech hot-worked crystal – bold in form, heavy in weight, and rich in sculptural expression. Crafted from solid Bohemian crystal with subtle green accents in the clear glass, both pieces captivate through their flowing lines, thick walls, and dramatic optical depth. Each piece was hand-formed directly from molten glass, without the use of molds, allowing the glassmaker to shape every curve individually. The result is not mass production, but true studio art glass – expressive, powerful, and unmistakably authentic. The set originates from the historic Czech glassworks Egermann, based in Nový Bor, the heart of Bohemian glassmaking. Egermann proudly carried the legacy of Fridrich Egermann (1777–1864), one of the most influential figures in glass history and the inventor of the famous Egermann overlay (Lasur) technique that made Czech glass world-renowned. For generations, Egermann glass symbolized craftsmanship, innovation, and prestige, with pieces admired and collected worldwide. Today, original Egermann hot-worked glass is increasingly rare, as this traditional form of production has come to an end. SPECIFICATIONS Vase Height: 37 cm Weight: approx. 3.6 kg A tall, sculptural vase with flowing contours, thick crystal walls, and elegant optical structure. Bowl Diameter: 30 cm Weight: approx. 2.7 kg A powerful, heavy bowl with an organic form and impressive presence – equally decorative as functional. CONDITION & DETAILS 100% handmade Bohemian crystal Unused, excellent condition Authentic collector’s pieces with artistic and historical value ⸻ This vase and bowl are not mere decorative objects – they are glass sculptures with heritage and soul, embodying the strength, beauty, and timeless prestige of Czech glassmaking. A rare and refined set for true admirers and collectors of Bohemian art glass.
