Important handcrafted drop earrings produced in Italy by Perna Laboratorio Orafo, an artisanal goldsmith atelier based in Torre del Greco (Naples), internationally recognised for its long-standing tradition in fine Italian jewellery and the expert use of carefully selected natural stones.
The earrings are set with natural malachite, chosen for its intense and vibrant green colour and its characteristic concentric banding, a natural feature that confirms the authenticity of the material. Each stone has been individually selected and precisely matched to achieve excellent chromatic consistency and a refined visual balance between the pair.
Each earring is composed of:
a round malachite element at the top (approx. 10 mm in diameter),
a drop-shaped malachite pendant (approx. 24 × 8 mm),
forming a slender and elegant vertical composition that enhances movement, light reflection and wearability. The proportions have been carefully studied to ensure comfort while maintaining a strong and distinctive visual presence.
The malachite elements are connected by brilliant-finished 18 kt yellow gold spheres and refined gold components, entirely handmade and perfectly proportioned to support the stones without overpowering them. The contrast between the deep green of the malachite and the warm tone of yellow gold results in a jewel of timeless elegance and refined character.
The mountings are crafted in solid 18 kt yellow gold (750/1000).
The 750/1000 hallmark is present on the mountings (not clearly visible in the photographs). The gold has been professionally tested and verified, confirming authenticity and declared fineness.
