Panos Th. Anagnostopoulos - Greek Olive Cultivation - 1931

Important and scarce scientific monograph on Greek olive cultivation, authored by Panos Th. Anagnostopoulos (1883–1964), one of the leading figures of modern Greek agronomy and arboriculture. This work, officially awarded by the Academy of Athens, represents a foundational study of olive growing in Greece, combining historical research, botanical analysis, and applied agricultural practice. It was published in Athens in 1931 and remains a landmark reference for the study of Mediterranean olive culture. The volume is richly illustrated with 164 figures, of which 138 are original, and includes at the end a large folding coloured chart of olive cultivation in Greece (approx. 40 × 60 cm), an element rarely preserved intact.
