Early 20th century french violin. Handcrafted in Lyon. Labelled "H.C. Silvestre a Lyon". Good condition, played by an orchestra musician for many years. Palisander Chinrest and fittings. Corpus length 60cm, Upper width 18, mid width 12, greatest width 22cm. Frame width 3,8cm. Tested and playable. Violins and bows described as 'certified' or 'attributed' include images of their certificates and are therefore considered to have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, origin, and age than instruments described only as 'labelled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we provide no guarantee of any kind.
