A new laser unit is installed.
It can play compact discs and audio cassettes.
It can be used to record audio cassettes directly from CDs or even from external sources that can be connected to the PIN inputs and outputs (AUX - DAT etc.).
Tascam is the line of professional audio hi-fi listening and recording equipment from the Japanese company Teac.
There are some light external marks (see the photos) that do not affect operation.
